Why the Timberjack?
- Aluminum handle: does not bend under a heavy log, does not rot or crack in the weather, and keeps the tool light enough to carry around all day
- The benefit of the two-footed stand is simple. With only one foot, the handle sits on the ground, which can wear out and tarnish your grip. Additionally, the handle on the ground means you have to bend over just that much more, leading to more strain over time.
- The toe lift on the hook. This feature was pioneered by our founder. Just use your foot in scenarios where you want to quickly and easily reposition the hook in preparation for a cut.

Awesome! If you have large logs to buck up than the woodchuck is for you! I used this on some pretty large tree logs and I can't be more pleased!! Quality product!
Saw one review where a guy had an issue with the foot rotating on him. I drilled and added a ¼" SS bolt to put any chance of that happening to sleep.
This product is a beast. Love it. First log I used it on was a wet, heavy, oak log. Never thought that this tool would lift, but it did. Grabbed solidly and up she went. So easy to use. This is a very well built tool. Used it on several more logs, continued to be impressed. You need this.
Not for small stuff. Go to Tractor Supply for that. This tool is made well in the USA and will turn and support 40 inch logs with only you as the weak link..Work well.
I love this tool. Its light weight makes it so easy to do the job. The leverage is perfect to take a solid oak log and raise it above the ground. I wish I had this long ago.
This handles a lot bigger, heavier logs than I expected. Its a real back and time saver, just wish I would have bought one years ago.
Light weight, strong, perfect balance, great ground clearance, quality built and highly recommend.
I would have given this product 4 stars had I not been sold a USED one. The unit I received was clearly used and returned (see photos). The pictures that are shown with the product are not accurate. For example you can’t hold the claw and have your foot on the back. The peg on the hook is too far down the curve. I suppose if you had size 20 shoe it might work as shown. Other than that it works but is a bit clunky to use.
If I could improve it, I would add a ring at the top of the handle to hook to if you need a little extra pull on a hillside with a rig. Or maybe an optional extension on the bar. Other than that, works great. Mostly aluminum so it's very light weight. Mine came with no assembly directions but it was pretty obvious how the four things went together.Yes I recommend this product.
I fall beetle killed spruce and white birch for firewood at our remote cabin. These trees are often 24" on the stump and plenty heavy. Thanks to all the knowlegable reviews about the Timberjack, I purchased one. It is strong, light, and designed so it functions flawlessly. I cannot reccommend it enough. In addition to allowing a mere mortal to rotate huge fallen trees while saving your back and saw from instant dulling in the dirt, it adds significantly to SAFETY. The two 'feet' give you a stable tree to limb and saw. They also raise the tree up where you can see unseen large limbs and stumps that might result in a dangerous kickback if you didn't. Buy this tool and you'll be glad you did! Finally, read the reviews about kevlar safety chaps. You'll get a pair of those to!. -JB
Amazing tool. Couldn’t wait to assemble and get to work when it arrived. Functions exactly as described and is a real back saver! Turn over logs with great ease. Super sturdy using thick solid aluminum for less weight. No Chinese welds of questionable quality as found on other knock-offs. Costs more than the cheap ones but well worth the investment!
I've had this tool for almost 3 years. If you cut your own firewood or cut trees down then you need this tool! It is light but strong and I have been able to get trunks as large as 20 inches diameter off the ground (I've rolled 24 inch trunks) and have never had any damage to it. Really fantastic!
Well made and very useful! Moving 22” oak logs with ease, and great for bucking felled trees.
Great quality. Made in the USA. Gets logs up off the ground for easier cutting.
Excellent so far. Have only used on small logs 12" dia. or less but definitely made getting them bucked up easier, looking forward to fall when dropping some big standing dead and cutting up.
Outstanding tool. Was able to lift off the ground 15ft by 12" diameter ponderosa pine logs. Made it easy to keep the chainsaw blade out of the dirt. Would definitely but again. Wish I would have had it years ago.
Simple to use, sturdy, and relatively inexpensive. Works fine for rolling, lifting, and holding logs for cutting.
Very well built. Should last a while
I had this delivered days earlier than predicted and it assembled easily.I rolled logs as large as 24" with the bucking feet on it.
Sturdy and durable, well built.
Have been using this regularly for five years (since 2018), it is well built and holds up to use. The handle is just the right length for small to medium sized trunks and with a fair amount of muscle large trunks. You could add a cheater to the end for very large trunks but not sure it could be used safely as the "mouth" opening would not be wide enough to get a good bite and if that would exceed the design specifications. In short, if you have small to large logs you need to get off the ground for cutting this is your tool. Well worth the money as you should only have to buy it once.
Better than expected!
I've used it lifting some bulky tree trunks, holds up solidly!!
Excellent Log Jack. Built well and will likely have years of use from this. I typically buy 8 or 10 cord at a time to cut and season. This is worth its weight in gold keeps my chainsaw out of the ground and saves my back as well. If you're about cutting and seasoning your firewood this is for you.
rolls and lifts the log to keep the saw chain out of the dirt, or to wrap a chain for moving !
This is well worth the money. It saves your back and your chain. This is awesome! I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I heartily recommend it.
Strong yet Lightwieght product
Used this with 4 trees so far. Very easy to use. Solid materials. The trees have been from 6 inches to 26 inches and I was able to roll them so the ends were off of the ground. Awesome tool!
Easy to assemble, lightweight, and stout!
The timberjack is built using heavy duty, quality ingredients. I have used it multiple times since purchasing and I am totally pleased.
